Cristian Regep

Cristian Regep has a wealth of experience in the fields of data science, bioinformatics, and web development. Cristian began their career in 2010 as a Summer Student at CERN, followed by a Web Developer role at IFORMIS LIMITED in 2011. In 2012, they had a Summer Intern role at Credit Suisse. From 2015 to 2017, they were Deputy Principal at Merton College, Oxford. In 2017, they became a Bioinformatics Data Scientist - Cell Therapy at Adaptimmune, where they analysed data landscapes and developed novel ML focused computational tools. In 2019, they held roles at Relation Therapeutics, first as Data Science Lead, then Director Data Science, and finally Senior Director Data Science. Cristian also held a Bioinformatics Entrepreneur-in-Residence role at Juvenescence in 2019.

Cristian Regep received their BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering with Management from The University of Edinburgh in 2013, and their DPhil (PhD) in MRC & EPSRC Systems approaches to Biomedical Science CDT from the University of Oxford in 2017.
