George Merikos

George Merikos has a strong background in quality assurance and project management. George worked as the Director of Quality Assurance at Relational SA from 2008 to the present, where they led and mentored the QA team, implemented QA policies and processes, and produced test evidence materials for both internal and external development. George also gathered and presented testing metrics and managed the QA budget.

Prior to their role at Relational SA, George worked as a Product Owner from 2014 to 2018 and as a Project Manager from 2008 to 2014. In these roles, they planned and monitored IT projects, coordinated requirements capture, estimated costs, managed risks and issues, and provided regular reports and presentations to top management.

Before joining Relational SA, George worked at EPOGRAF LTD as the Manager of ERP Product from 2003 to 2007. George was responsible for creating a new ERP system from scratch and was involved in project management, analysis, development, and support.

George also has experience working as an ECDL Lecturer at webwonders Hellas from 2005 to 2006 and as a Software Engineer and System/Database/Network Administrator at Emphasis Systems SA from 1999 to 2002.

George Merikos earned a Bachelor's Degree with Honors (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire from 1998 to 2001. George later pursued an M.B.A. - Master in Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General at the same university from 2003 to 2004. In 2015, they obtained a PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management from PEOPLECERT.
