Allison R.

Allison R. began their work experience in 2015 with a summer program at The University of British Columbia, where they conducted research on deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest. Allison then had a business internship at Seattle Bouldering Project in 2016, where they mapped business process workflows and helped identify efficiency improvements. Allison also participated in the Carleton Summer Science Institute at Carleton College in the same year, where they worked on a collaborative Chemistry research project.

In 2018, Allison started their work at Grinnell College, serving as a member of the GreenFund Committee and working on campus sustainability projects. Allison also worked as a Recycling Coordinator and was part of the AppDev Design Team, where they improved the design of a student publications app. In 2019, they worked as a Summer Employee at Kayak Academy, assisting customers, fulfilling online orders, and guiding evening paddle trips.

Allison continued their work experience in 2021 with an internship at Iowa State University, focusing on molecular programming and presenting their research to the LAMP community. Allison also had a software development engineer internship at Amazon Web Services (AWS) during the same year, where they developed a log analysis service for the Lambda Frontend Invoke team.

Currently, in 2022, Allison is working as a Software Engineer at RelationalAI.

Allison R. completed their education from 2017 to 2021 at Grinnell College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors. Allison'smajor was in Computer Science, and they concentrated in Environmental Studies. During their time at Grinnell College, Allison also took two summer courses at other institutions. In 2019, they attended the University of Washington for a summer course called "Elements of Statistical Methods," which was worth 4 credits. In 2018, they took a summer course called "Geology of the Pikes Peak Region" at Colorado College, also worth 4 credits.
