Marco Diciolla

Marco Diciolla has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marco is currently working as the VP EMEA at RelationalAI since February 2022. Prior to this, they were an Investor at By Rotation in 2021 and an Angel Investor since January 2021. Marco also served as an Engagement Director at QuantumBlack from July 2018 to February 2022 and as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company during the same period. In their earlier career, Marco worked as a Deployed Computational Engineer at Palantir Technologies from February 2016 to June 2018. Marco was also a Quantitative Associate at Barclays Investment Bank, specializing in FI Exotics and Options, from February 2014 to February 2016. Before embarking on their industry career, Marco was a Doctoral Student at the University of Oxford from October 2010 to January 2014, focusing on quantitative analysis for stochastic processes in the Quantitative Analysis and Verification Group under the supervision of Prof. Marta Kwiatkowska. Additionally, they gained experience as a Quantitative Associate Intern at Barclays Investment Bank, also in the FI Exotics and Options domain, from June 2013 to September 2013.

Marco Diciolla completed their education in Computer Engineering with a Master degree from Politecnico di Milano from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued further studies in Computer Science, attaining a Master's degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology during the academic year 2009-2010. Marco then proceeded to the University of Oxford, where they earned a DPhil in Computer Science between 2010 and 2013.
