Vukasin Stefanovic

Vukasin Stefanovic has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Vukasin is currently a Database System Engineer at RelationalAI since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft from 2015 to 2022 where they held various positions including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer 2, and Software Engineer. During their time at Microsoft, they contributed to projects such as the next-gen serverless SQL datawarehouse in Azure Synapse. Before joining Microsoft, Vukasin worked as an intern at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in the Parallel Systems Architecture Laboratory, where they worked on CloudSuite benchmarks. Vukasin also had a software design engineer intern role at Microsoft Development Center Serbia. Additionally, they gained experience as a student assistant at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering and as a software developer intern at SOL - Serbian Object Laboratories.

Vukasin Stefanovic completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Information Theory from the University of Belgrade in 2015. From 2011 to 2015, they pursued this degree at the same university. Vukasin further continued their education at the University of Belgrade and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and Information Theory from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Vukasin has also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they completed courses in Machine Learning, Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 2, Cryptography I, and Startup Engineering from Coursera.
