Jesse Hecht is an experienced aerospace engineer specializing in launch mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Launch Mechanical Engineer and Senior Manager at Relativity Space since April 2019, Jesse has played a pivotal role in the development of launch ground support equipment for the Terran R rocket, overseeing design, analysis, testing, activation, and the inaugural launch. Previously, during a 12-year tenure at SpaceX, Jesse led teams on various mechanical projects related to launch sites, including the development of transporter erectors and associated subsystems. Earlier in the career, Jesse worked as a Stress Engineer at Northrop Grumman, performing stress analysis on F-35 components.
