Joe Bussenger

Joe Bussenger currently serves as the Senior Director of Launch Operations at Relativity Space, a position held since October 2022, after previously being the Director of Launch Operations and overseeing Test and Launch Engineering. Prior to this, Joe worked at SpaceX for a decade, where roles included Director of Recovery and Landing Operations and various managerial and engineering positions focused on recovery and landing. Additionally, Joe managed test platforms and evaluation at Propulsion Studios and gained early experience as a Propulsion Engineering Intern at TASC, Inc. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, graduating in 2013.
