Doug Jones has worked in the culinary industry for over 10 years. Doug began their career in 2010 as a Cook for Milestones. Doug then worked as a Cook for The Drake Hotel in 2012, Drake One Fifty in 2013, Sanagan's Meat Locker as a Butcher in 2014, The Craft - Brasserie & Grill as a Sous Chef in 2015, and Head Baker for Drake Hotel Properties in 2016. In 2018, they worked as a Cook for Boralia. In 2019, Doug Jones was the Bread Dept. Manager for Forno Cultura. In 2020, they worked as a Food and Beverage Specialist for byMinistry, and is currently employed as a Software Engineer I for Relay Financial since 2021.

Doug Jones has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ryerson University, which they obtained in 2010. Doug also obtained a Software Engineering Immersive certification from General Assembly in May 2021. In addition, they have a CannSell Ontario Standard Certification from CannSell, which they obtained in November 2020 and a Level I Prud'homme Beer Certification, which they obtained in September 2015.
