Max Wesman

Max Wesman is an experienced executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Relay since March 2025, where leadership spans product and revenue teams to support small businesses in financial management. Wesman also acts as an advisor and consultant to several early-stage AI companies, including PreCognito and TransCrypts, since February 2024. Prior experience includes Vice President of Product Management at Checkr, Inc., overseeing core services and M&A integration from April 2022 to February 2024, and Chief Operating Officer at Inflection, managing multiple operational areas from September 2019 to April 2022. Wesman founded GoodHire in July 2012, engaging across all business aspects before transitioning into various leadership roles within Checkr. Educational background includes an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a BS from The Wharton School in Information Systems and Economics.
