Ariana Kanwit, Ph.D., currently serves as the Department Chair of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners and Bilingual Program Designer at Relay Graduate School of Education since July 2017. Prior experience includes founding principal and academic dean at PAVE Schools from June 2011 to 2017 and resident principal roles at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and Woodland Star Charter School. Additionally, Ariana worked as a bilingual teacher through the NYC Teaching Fellows program. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis from NC State University, a Principal Fellowship from Relay Graduate School of Education, a Master's in Educational Leadership from Baruch College, and a Master's in Education from Mercy University, complemented by a Bachelor's in Spanish and Anthropology from Bennington College.
