Katie Yezzi

Partner, New York Leadership Programs at Relay Graduate School of Education

Katie Yezzi is the Associate Dean of Regional Support on Relay GSE’s Leadership Programs Team. In this role, she provides leadership coaching for a portfolio of school districts as well as creates and teaches content for their leadership programs.

Prior to joining Relay, Katie was an Assistant Superintendent with Uncommon Schools in Troy, NY, having founded both Troy Preparatory Charter Elementary and High Schools. She also served on the Teach Like a Champion Team. Previously, Katie taught English and served in several leadership roles in district (SFUSD) and charter high schools in San Francisco.

Katie is the co-author, with Doug Lemov and Erica Woolway of Practice Perfect: 42 Rules for Getting Better at Getting Better. Ms. Yezzi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in American Civilization and her Master of Arts in Teaching English from Brown University and is a member of New Leaders Cohort 2.
