Brendan Putek

Brendan Putek is a Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining international multi-datacenter and AWS hosted SaaS applications. Brendan has also been responsible for providing guidance on development of cloud-computing solutions and enterprise management of near-Internet size data. Brendan has a history of working in various IT positions including Network Engineer and has been with Blackboard Inc since April 2013.

Brendan Putek earned a BS in Computer Information Systems from Widener University. Brendan is certified by Cisco in CCENT, Amazon Web Services in Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate, Cloudera in Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop, Microsoft in MCITP: Windows Server 2008 Server Administrator, and MCSA Windows Server 2008. Brendan is also CompTIA certified in Network+ and Security+ 2011, and VMware certified in VSP5 and VTSP 5.
