Ibraheem Khalifa has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2007. Ibraheem began their career as an IT Analyst at Progress Energy, where they developed and supported business applications and led disaster recovery planning. In 2009, they were Director at Wecycles, where they developed and proposed a Bicycle Sharing plan for Chapel Hill and Raleigh. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at EMC in various roles, including Senior UX Engineer, Manager of the Leadership Engineering Acceleration Program, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer II. In 2014, they became CTO of Freedom, where they built the company to help people reduce digital distraction and developed a SaaS product on AWS with a Python/JavaScript stack packed in Docker. From 2015 to 2018, they were Technical Product Manager at Republic Wireless, and then Senior Director and Director of Product Management at Relay from 2018 to the present.
Ibraheem Khalifa received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014, with a focus on Strategy & Leadership. Ibraheem obtained their BSc degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University between 2001 and 2007.
