Willem Span is a seasoned product and user experience professional with extensive experience in leading design and product management teams. Currently serving as a Senior Product Owner at Relay42 since June 2025, Willem previously held the position of Product Manager for FedEx Ship Manager Online, managing a high-volume application that supports over 15 million monthly shipments and generates over $10 billion in annual revenue. Earlier roles include Senior User Experience Designer at both FedEx and the Ministry of Defence, where Willem led transformative UX initiatives and contributed to complex digital transformations. Willem holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
