Kevin Strauss

Kevin Strauss has a diverse background in data science and machine learning. Kevin started their career as an intern and working student in controlling at Siemens in 2013, before moving on to the role of a student assistant in optimization at Lehrstuhl fml (TUM). In 2015, they worked as a working student in media intelligence at Blackwood Seven. Kevin then gained experience as a student research assistant in biostatistics at HelmholtzZentrum Münche in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Ippen Digital GmbH & Co. KG as a working student in data and machine learning engineering. In 2019, Kevin completed their master thesis on artificial intelligence and machine learning at BMW Group. Kevin then served as a machine learning engineer at Ippen Digital GmbH & Co. KG from February to May 2020. Currently, Kevin is employed as a data scientist at relayr, starting in June 2020.

Kevin Strauss has a strong educational background in mathematics and data science. Kevin obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mathematics in Data Science from the Technical University of Munich from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics from the same institution from 2011 to 2016.

Kevin also has some experience in the field of informatics. Kevin pursued studies in informatics at the Technical University of Munich from 2016 to 2017 and at the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne from 2018 to 2019. Although they did not obtain specific degrees in these programs, they gained valuable knowledge in the field.

Furthermore, Kevin participated in an exchange program at the Universitat de Barcelona in 2014 and 2015, where they focused on mathematics. This experience allowed him to broaden their academic perspectives.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin has obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in September 2021. This certification demonstrates their proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Azure for cloud computing.
