Director of Dealer Services

John Nelson has been in the auto industry for over 20 years. Director started their career as a sales manager at Ray Skillman Southside Hyundai. In 2 years, they raised the department to $10m+ and into the Ward’s Top 25 for F/I. Director personally ran $2500+ per copy and put on over $1.5m a year with less than 20% coming from reserve. In 2013, they became the finance manager at Ray Skillman Ford. Director was responsible for obtaining financing and providing customers with insurance and protection options. In 2 years, they raised the department to $10m+ and into the Ward’s Top 25 for F/I. Director personally ran $2500+ per copy and put on over $1.5m a year with less than 20% coming from reserve.

In 2017, they left Ray Skillman Ford to join Driven Data as their VP of Sales. Director was responsible for leading the sales team to bring this new technology to the auto industry. They started with a simple idea and there is literally nothing like this out there. They’ve just broken the 200 dealer mark and are going through their second round to take them to market. Director's time at Driven Data was cut short in 2019 when they were recruited by Relentless Dealer Services to be their Director of Dealer Services, a position they still hold today.

The Director of Dealer Services would have an MBA in Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Business & Sports Management from Indiana University Bloomington. They would also have experience in Senior Pranks and A/V Distribution from Whiteland Community High School.

Their manager is Dominic Zappia, Title. Director of Dealer Services works with and Director of Training - Director of Training. A direct report to Director of Dealer Services is and Bradley Taylor - Dealer Services Team Lead.
