James Jiao has held various positions in the tech industry since 2016. James began as Co-President of Lynbrook Robotics, then served as Vice President of Public Relations, Public Relations Officer, and Trial Attorney for Lynbrook Mock Trial. In 2017, they became a Fellow at Catapult Ideas. In 2018, they worked as a Computer Vision Research Intern at Alibaba.com. In 2019, they were a Project Lead at Launchpad (UC Berkeley). In 2020, they were a CS 70 + CS 170 Reader at UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS), a Software Engineering Intern at AimHub, and a Co-Founder & CTO at Relentlo, where they created the first solution that allowed brands to product place in video games with no technical integration required on either end. Relentlo is partnered with games totaling over 5 million total downloads and has received funding along with an invitation to the National Icorps program by the National Science Foundation. In 2021, James Jiao became a Quantitative Trading Intern at IMC Trading.
James Jiao began their educational journey at Lynbrook High School from 2015 to 2019. James then attended West Valley College in 2018-2019 before enrolling in UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS) in 2019. James is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in EECS and is expected to graduate in 2023.
