Chingis D.

Chingis D. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Chingis started their career in 2011 as a Software Engineer at Amadeus, where they developed and supported CI/CD pipelines and ensured the monitoring and performance of internal services.

In 2015, Chingis joined Textkernel as a DevOps engineer, where they rolled out new SaaS releases, built tooling for monitoring and log collection, and maintained high availability and performance.

Moving on to VEON in 2017, Chingis worked as a Cloud Engineer, where they provided platform services for a mid-size autonomous organization. Chingis was responsible for creating and supporting a full monitoring and alerting stack for the cloud platform.

At Elastic, starting in 2019, Chingis held the position of SRE, contributing to the Cloud Observability team. Chingis took ownership of the observability and analytics stack, provided SRE tooling for centralized configuration across multiple cloud providers.

Currently, Chingis holds the position of Head of Infrastructure at Relevance AI since 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Lead SRE, managing the infrastructure team at the seed-round startup. Their responsibilities included creating a platform for running AI-based workloads, establishing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring observability and 24/7 support.

Throughout their career, Chingis has gained experience with various technologies such as AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, ECK, New Relic, Elasticsearch, Beats, Logstash, Kibana, APM, Docker Swarm, Prometheus, Grafana, Puppet, Salt Stack, Bash, Collectd, Fluentd, Eclipse, Mercurial, Jenkins, Apache httpd, Solaris, and Nagios.

Chingis D. earned a Bachelor's degree from Novosibirsk State University (NSU), where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree at Mines Paris from 2009 to 2011. However, the field of study for both degrees was not specified.
