Theo Albers has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Theo is currently the Head of Solutions & Innovation at Relevance, where they lead a team of specialists in creating blended learning journeys for clients. Prior to this, they worked as a Blended Learning Consultant at Relevance, designing and implementing in-company blended learning programs globally.
From 2009 to 2021, Theo founded and ran T-O Services, a company focused on optimizing hospitality through inventive learning tools and energetic training sessions for staff, management, and entrepreneurs. Theo has trained numerous companies in the hospitality industry, including renowned brands like Heineken, Amstel, Affligem, Dos XX, and Brand bier.
Additionally, Theo served as the Co-Owner of Biertraining.nl / Beer-training.com, a full online beer education platform certified by SVH in the Netherlands. Theo was responsible for website creation and management, content writing, video production, and sales and social media communication.
Earlier in their career, Theo worked as a Draught Beer Quality Trainer at The HEINEKEN Company in 2019. Theo also gained experience as a bartender at Arthouse & Café LUX from 2002 to 2011, and as an intern at Siebenheller & Partners in 2007. Theo started their career as an Assistant Manager at Café de Foyer in Nijmegen from 2003 to 2005.
Theo Albers pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1993 to 1997, they attended Nijmeegse Scholengemeenschap Groenewoud, where they studied HAVO. Following this, they enrolled at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 2006 to 2010. During their time at HAN, Theo focused on the field of Learning & Development in Organisations. Apart from their formal education, they acquired a certification in September 2021 as a member of The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute).
