Michael Choi

Michael Choi has over 25 years of experience in the field of graphic design and creative direction. Michael currently works as a Senior Art Director at Relevate Health. Prior to this, they owned and operated their own freelance graphic design business, Open Mind Design, where they specialized in full identity programs for small businesses and worked with major corporations such as JPMorgan Chase and USA Today.

Michael has also held various leadership roles in the advertising industry. Michael served as the VP, Associate Creative Director at WILDTYPE, a TBWA\WorldHealth Company, where they played a crucial role in growing the business and agency from a staff of 4 to 30. Michael was responsible for leading the creative team and working on brands like Keytruda and Lenvima.

In addition, Michael worked as a Creative Director at Wedgewood Communications, where they led creative efforts for art and copy and played a vital role in rebranding the agency. Michael also worked as an Interactive ACD, Art (Freelance) at McCann Health, a Visual Lead (Associate Creative Director, Art) at MRM//McCann, and an Associate Creative Director, Art (Freelance) at Cline Davis & Mann.

During their time at various agencies such as Greater Than One, The Bloc, and Harrison and Star, Michael demonstrated their expertise in leading creative teams, working on major healthcare brands, and expanding agencies' capabilities in digital and multichannel initiatives.

Michael Choi obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Fine Art from Middlebury College. Michael then went on to attend Pratt Institute, where they earned their Master of Science degree in Communications Design. Prior to their college education, Choi attended Milton Academy from 1981 to 1985, where they did not earn a degree or specialize in a specific field of study.
