Matthew Wenger

Matthew Wenger is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Relevate Power since May 2023, Matthew is focused on advancing the company's hydro-first approach to distributed renewable power. Prior roles include Partner at Clear Energy Renewables, where responsibilities spanned development and optimization of portfolios, and Venture Partner at Stealth Sustainability Ventures, emphasizing sustainability entrepreneurship. Previously, as Chief Strategy & Operations Sherpa at Growth Sherpas, Matthew supported the growth of seed-stage technology companies, and as Chief Evangelist and CEO of ThinkTank, contributed to the global expansion of collective intelligence software. Matthew also held significant positions at OpenGlobal, Result, PacketFront Software, Seed IT, and founded the BC Community Connectivity Cooperative, which championed broadband development in Canada. Educational background includes a BFA from Harvard University, Carleton University, and the University of Victoria.
