Antti Alakiikonen

Antti Alakiikonen has a diverse work experience spanning over the years. Antti is currently working at RELEX Solutions as a Principal Engineer, where they are responsible for various engineering tasks. Prior to this, they served as the Director Of Engineering at RELEX, overseeing the integration of Zenopt into the company and enhancing the Zenopt product.

Before joining RELEX, Antti was the Co-founder and CTO of Zenopt, contributing to the development and growth of the company from 2015 to 2019. Antti also worked as a Software Developer at Reaktor from 2015 to 2017.

Antti gained experience in software development and engineering through their roles at Combitech, Saab, and atBusiness, where they worked as a Software Engineer and a Mobile and Web Developer. Antti also worked as a Junior Software Developer during their time at atBusiness.

Additionally, Antti has prior experience as a Research Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology and as a Laboratory Worker at Metso Automation, where they were involved in various R&D projects.

Early in their career, Antti worked as a Trainee/Assembler at Metso Automation and as a Youth Leader at Pienryhmäkoti Poppeli Oy.

Antti Alakiikonen completed their education at various institutes. Antti obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Automation and Systems Technology from Aalto University in 2008-2012. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Automation and Systems Technology and Industrial Management at Aalto University from 2012 to 2015. In 2013, they briefly attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, focusing on Business, Management, and Marketing. Recently, in 2023-2024, they enrolled at Aalto University again to pursue a Master's degree in a mixture of Strategy, Accounting, Economics, and Corporate Law.
