Steven Wolin has a diverse range of work experience in the field of product technology, compliance, and fire protection engineering. Steven served as the Senior Vice President at Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc., where they had responsibilities in product development, management, and maintenance. Steven provided counsel on IP, contracts, and litigation matters and managed various functions including technical support, training, project management, and industry relations. Prior to that, they were the Vice President at the same company, where they represented the company before technical committees, trade organizations, and product approval agencies and delivered technical presentations to industry associations and customers. Before their tenure at Reliable, they worked as a Principal at Code Consultants, Inc., an internationally recognized fire protection engineering and life safety consulting firm.
Steven Wolin completed their education at various institutions. Steven obtained a JD degree in Law from Saint Louis University School of Law, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Fire Protection Engineering at the University of Maryland from 1999 to 2000. Steven also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the same university between 1996 and 1999.
In addition to their formal education, Steven Wolin obtained several certifications. In 2004, they became a Professional Engineer, granted by the Board For Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Professional Landscape Architects. Steven achieved membership in The Missouri Bar as a Member of the Bar in April 2007. Furthermore, they were awarded the Limited Certificate for In-house Counsel by the South Carolina Bar in November 2014. Finally, in June 2011, they gained the Professional Engineer certification from the South Carolina State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors.
