Shaun Wood is an accomplished software engineering manager with extensive experience in the aerospace and transportation industries. Currently serving as the Software Engineering Manager for Platform Software at Reliable Robotics Corporation since January 2022, Shaun has led the full lifecycle of flight software development for the autonomous C208 Caravan. Prior to this role, Shaun worked at Garmin International as a Software Engineer, where development of safety-critical, flight-worthy software in accordance with DO-178 was a key responsibility. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Project Engineer at Union Pacific Railroad, contributing to the Machine Vision project through the development of Java services for data storage and retrieval. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
