Dharmendra Ranka

Dharmendra Ranka is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President at Reliance Communications since November 2013, Dharmendra is responsible for managing accounts related to foreign subsidiaries, internal audits, risk management, board presentations, mergers and acquisitions, the rollout of GST, IFC, IND AS, and the upgrading of SAP. Prior to this role, Dharmendra was Head of Finance at Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd, where collaboration with senior management led to achieving EBIDTA break-even. Dharmendra's career at Reliance Communications also includes experience as General Manager - Commercial, focusing on strategic planning and EBIDTA improvement. Previous positions also include Manager Finance at Voltas Limited and Sr. Manager Finance and Materials at Welspun Corp Limited, contributing to cost optimization and leading finance functions for a Greenfield startup. Dharmendra holds a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, completed between 1989 and 1992.
