Chris Martin is an experienced professional in information security and risk management, currently serving as the Information Security GRC Manager at Reliance Cyber since June 2022. Martin has demonstrated expertise in ISMS implementation, policy development, and technical control oversight. Prior to this role, Martin was an Embedded Security Manager at GardaWorld, where leadership in security operations for a Russian energy company's national headquarters was provided, along with the successful implementation of various security controls compliant with international standards. As an independent Security Consultant from 2010 to 2020, Martin delivered security solutions for high-profile clients in challenging environments, including post-conflict Iraq. Martin's career began in the British Army as a Special Observer Team Leader, focusing on covert surveillance and operational support during five tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Chris Martin holds a Master's degree in Risk Management from Buckinghamshire New University.
