Amira Hamdy

Amira Hamdy has an extensive work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Amira currently holds the position of Group Internal Audit Controls and Compliance Director at Reliance Group - Egypt since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Imerys as the General Manager from July 2016 to December 2020, and as the Finance Manager from January 2014 to June 2016. Amira also held various finance and management positions at TotalEnergies, including Finance and Procurement Head - COCO stations BU, Finance Head Lubricants BU, Finance Head Aviation & Bunker BU, Treasury Specialist, Senior Accounts Receivable, and Senior Accounts Payable. Before TotalEnergies, they were the Head of Finance at CCIFE - French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt from August 2002 to June 2005.

Amira Hamdy has a diverse education history. Amira attended Lycée du Caire from 1985 to 1997. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at DGCI from 1998 to 2001. Amira then went on to obtain another Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Université de Poitiers in 2001.

Later, they pursued an MBA in Internal Audit and Management Control from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, where they studied from 2001 to 2004.
