Prior to their self-employment, they held the position of VP Operations at Clayton Williams Energy from 1999 to May 2017. John also worked as a Drilling Engineer at Samson Resources from 1996 to 1998 and at Marathon Oil Corporation from 1991 to 1996. Lastly, they held the role of Operations Engineer at Marathon Oil Corporation from 1987 to 1991.
John Kennedy attended Texas Tech University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Petroleum Engineering.
