Ninad Chhaya has extensive work experience in the gaming and interactive media industry. Ninad is currently working as the Senior Vice President at Reliance Games since 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded GoPhygital in 2021 and served as the Co-Founder and Chief Metaverse Officer, responsible for strategic alliances, project execution, and formulating digital strategies for augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, and game development.
In 2021, Chhaya also co-founded SUSTAIN AI. Ninad has been actively involved as an Advisory Board Member for Responsible Netism, a non-profit organization promoting cyber wellness, since 2022.
From 2016 to 2021, Chhaya worked as the COO at WITS Interactive Pvt. Ltd., where they were responsible for strategic alliances and brand communication strategies.
Ninad also served as a Visiting Faculty at Whistling Woods International from 2016 to 2018, imparting their expertise and knowledge in the industry.
Prior to that, Chhaya held the position of VP - Games and Entertainment at Robosoft Technologies from 2013 to 2016, managing overall profitability and growth of the gaming segment. Ninad also established Playcaso, India's first indie-focused casual games publisher, from 2011 to 2013.
Chhaya's career started with Jump Games (formerly Paradox Studios Pvt. Ltd) in 2004, where they played a crucial role in establishing the company as a global game publisher. Ninad held the position of EVP (Global Publishing) and developed a network of developers worldwide.
Chhaya co-founded Indiagames Ltd., India's premier gaming company, in 1999. During their tenure as Co-Founder, Creative Director, and Head of Delivery, they were responsible for team building, content production, international market expansion, and business development.
