Namita Rohra

Namita Rohra has a strong background in the insurance industry, with experience in liability, credit, specialty, and cyber lines. Namita currently holds the position of Vice President and National Head of Liability, Credit, and Specialty Lines at Reliance General Insurance. Prior to that, they worked as a Segment Head for Liability, Cyber, and Specialty Lines at the same company. Namita also worked as a Freelancer, providing consulting services for liability and specialized products. Namita served as the Practice Head for Liability and Specialty Lines at Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Ltd. from 2018 to 2020. Before that, Namita worked as an Underwriter for Liability Lines and Head of Trade Credit at Bharti AXA General Insurance. Namita gained experience in casualty and crisis management as an Underwriter for ICICI Lombard. Namita also played a significant role as an Underwriter for Liability Lines at L&T General Insurance, where they were responsible for branding, marketing, and product approvals. Namita started their career as a Summer Trainee at HSBC Commercial Banking.

Namita Rohra completed their high school education at Loreto House from 1997 to 1999. Namita then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honors at Calcutta University from 1999 to 2002. Afterward, they attended the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad from 2003 to 2005, where they completed a full-time PGDBM (Flagship Full Time Residential Program) with a major in Marketing and other subjects in Finance.
