Reliance Hospice and Palliative Care
Amaan Zafar is currently a volunteer at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and serves as Volunteer Coordinator at Healthcare in Action. Since September 2023, Amaan has held positions as a Medical Assistant at Neighborhood Healthcare, a Researcher with the Med-RAMP program, an Assistant Psychotherapist at the California Department of State Hospitals, and an HCAP Intern at UCR Health Clinical and Administrative Program. Additional volunteer experience includes support roles at the Illumination Foundation and Inland Empire Street Medicine. Amaan previously worked as a Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica and has been involved with Model United Nations since 2018, holding leadership roles including Director of Service Events and Assistant Secretary-General. Amaan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of California, Riverside, expected to graduate in June 2026.
