Alok then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Maritime Studies from Newcastle University, from 1992 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Jain has obtained several certifications in various fields, including maritime insurance, goal-based standards, leadership strategies, and safety management.
