Ashwin Gajra

Ashwin Gajra is an experienced professional in biomanufacturing and research and development, currently serving as Vice President RDD&D (Head Biomanufacturing) at Reliance Industries Limited since December 2011, after holding the position of Associate Vice President RDD&D. Prior to this, Ashwin was Head R&D at Laurus Bio from January 2009 to December 2011, and worked as a Process Development Lead at Life Technologies from April 2006 to January 2009. Ashwin's career also includes roles as Senior Scientist at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Scientist at Intas Biopharmaceuticals, and Joint Head of R&D and Production at Yashraj Biotechnology Ltd. Ashwin holds a PhD in Bioprocess Engineering from the Institute Of Chemical Technology and completed a masterclass in Entrepreneurship for Life Sciences/Health Care Startups from UCSF Innovation Ventures in 2020.
