Dr. Durga Prasad Dube Ph.D has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security and information risk management. Dr. Durga Prasad began their career in 1984 at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), where they held various roles including Assistant General Manager and conducted advanced research overseas in information assurance practices. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a faculty member at the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology, where they consulted major banking organizations and published research papers on internet banking security. Dr. Durga Prasad then joined Wipro Ltd. as a Consulting Advisor, focusing on security consulting offerings for the banking and financial sector. In 2007, Dr. Dube became the Vice President of Information Security at Reliance Group, responsible for developing a strong information security framework for the conglomerate. Dr. Durga Prasad later joined Paladion as an Executive Director, heading the global business for banking and financial services. Since 2012, Dr. Dube has served as the Executive Vice President at Reliance Industries Limited, leading cyber security and information risk management for the group and overseeing the implementation of state-of-the-art security technology solutions. Throughout their career, Dr. Dube has demonstrated expertise in designing cyber security architecture, managing large teams, and addressing diverse compliance requirements.
Dr. Durga Prasad Dube Ph.D has a diverse education history. Dr. Durga Prasad received their Ph.D in Cyber Security from IBCS, SOA University between 2011 and 2020. Dr. Durga Prasad also obtained a M.Sc degree from Ravenshaw University between 1979 and 1981. Additionally, they pursued a PGDCS in Computer Science from the University of Hyderabad in 1999-2000. Dr. Dube has also received certifications in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, namely CISA and CGEIT, from ISACA between 2001 and 2008. Lastly, they have a degree in Banking and Financial Support Services (IIBF) from CAIIB, acquired between 1984 and 1989.
