Varun Dhanuka

Varun Dhanuka is an experienced financial services executive currently serving as Vice President of Financial Services at Reliance since 2018, overseeing a team of over 300 employees. Dhanuka is responsible for the P&L of a non-banking financial company (NBFC) with significant equity capital exceeding INR 50 billion and a loan book greater than INR 200 billion. Notable achievements include the launch of Jio Finance Hub, facilitating digital consumer lending to over 100,000 merchants, and managing key stakeholder relationships with the chairman and executive committee of Reliance Industries Limited. Previously, Dhanuka held positions at Geospan Energy Group, providing valuation and structuring recommendations for major investments, and at ABB Lummus Global Inc., leading engineering teams on large-scale petrochemical projects. Dhanuka holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
