David Miers

David Miers has a long and varied career in operations management. David began their career in 2008 as a Division Manager at NCO Financial Systems where they were responsible for overseeing and remotely managing operations in two international and one local call center. David redesigned and implemented a more efficient telecommunication architecture that reduced the cost per call, increased consumer contacts, and greatly improved revenue.

In 2013, they moved to Affinitas as a Director of Call Center Operations where they provided operational support and guidance for three divisions consisting of 280 FTEs. David spearheaded efforts to improve hiring and training, compensation strategy, process improvement, policy revision, team building, and employee review guidelines. David also provided cost control suggestions to make various programs more profitable and assisted with PACE certification audit and record keeping process.

In 2014, they joined JD Mellberg Financial as Manager of Sales Operations where they led a team of 160, with 12 direct reports, for inside sales that responded to inbound sales inquiries, as well as conducted outbound sales activities. David oversaw new project implementation, training process revision, and bridged the gap between the marketing, IT, and production teams.

In 2016, they joined Newtek Business Services Corp. (NASDAQ: NEWT) as Chief Operations Officer where they led a team of 106, with 22 direct reports, while overseeing the day-to-day operations in the areas of sales, policy development, reporting, customer service, and employee development. David held full P&L responsibility for $17.2M in annual revenue.

In 2019, they moved to Sterling Data Storage, LLC as Chief Operating Officer where they led a team of 32, across 5 locations, while overseeing day-to-day operations for employee relations, recruiting, policy and process revision, vendor management, customer retention and support, and sales. David held full P&L responsibility for $8.6M in annual revenue.

Currently, David Miers is Operations Manager at Reliance Information Consulting.
