Anand Shankar

Anand Shankar has a strong background in the insurance industry, with extensive experience in sales and distribution. Anand began their career at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company in 2007 as a Summer Management Trainee, where they focused on recruiting and training sales advisors and sourcing new business. In 2008, they joined Reliance Nippon Life Insurance and held various positions, including Assistant Manager in Branch Operations/Sales Support and Assistant Manager in Business Retention & Sales Support. Anand later progressed to roles such as Deputy Manager, Manager, Senior Manager, and Chief Manager in Sales and Distribution. Most recently, Anand has been serving as an AVP, responsible for driving sales through the launch and monitoring of new sales strategies, as well as budget planning and strategizing new sales initiatives. Anand is currently Vice President of Sales Distribution at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance.

Anand Shankar completed their undergraduate education at Delhi University from 2003 to 2006, earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics with Honors. Prior to that, they attended The Daly College Indore from 1996 to 2003. Anand later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Finance at the Indian Institute of Planning and Management, graduating in 2008.
