Pascal de Bruycker

Pascal De Bruycker has extensive experience in the field of information security. Pascal is currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., where they are responsible for the management of information security programs and solutions. Prior to this, they held various roles, including Director of Information Security, Audit & Compliance at IPC Healthcare, Inc. (TeamHealth), and Information Security Consultant at Independent. Pascal also founded and served as the CEO of ITSec and held managerial positions at Ascure and Integrated Network Solutions. Pascal has expertise in domains such as risk management, identity and access management, disaster recovery planning, and security architecture and models. Pascal has worked in industries such as financial services, healthcare, government, utilities, manufacturing, and education. Pascal started their career as a network and systems consultant and later worked as a system and network engineer.

Pascal De Bruycker's education history includes various degrees and certifications. Pascal attended Vlerick Business School from 2001 to 2002, where they studied Entrepreneurship & General Management. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1994, they attended K.H.M. and focused on Telematics. Pascal also attended HOGENT from 1988 to 1992, obtaining a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics & Mechanics. In terms of certifications, Pascal obtained the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from (ISC)2 in 2003, followed by the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certifications from ISACA in 2004. Later, in 2015, they obtained the CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) certification from ISACA, and in 2016, they obtained the CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) certification, also from ISACA.
