Melinda Dickerson

Melinda Dickerson, PT, DPT has extensive work experience in the field of rehabilitation. Melinda most recently served as the Regional Director of Operations at Reliant Rehabilitation since November 2020. Prior to that, they were the Regional Director of Therapy Operations at Diversicare Healthcare Services Inc. from September 2019 to October 2020.

In 2019, Melinda worked as a Physical Therapist at both Mississippi Methodist Senior Services, Inc. and Vertis Therapy from April to September. Melinda gained valuable experience as the Area Director of Rehabilitation at Kindred at Home from October 2016 to March 2019.

Melinda also spent a significant portion of their career at Aegis Therapies, where they held various roles. From August 2014 to October 2016, they served as the Area Vice President overseeing operational and clinical management for PT, OT, and ST services in multiple settings. Prior to that, they were a Clinical Specialist providing support to clinicians and directors of rehab for 13 facilities in Mississippi and Louisiana. Melinda also served as a Rehab Program Coordinator and staff Physical Therapist at Aegis Therapies.

Earlier in their career, Melinda worked as a District Manager at NovaCare in 1997 and as the Rehabilitation Manager at Gilmore Memorial Hospital from 1992 to 1997. Melinda gained experience in growth and development of rehabilitation departments, policy and procedure development, risk management, budgeting, program development, and community education.

Melinda started their career as an Assistant Director at Magnolia Hospital in 1990.

Melinda Dickerson, PT, DPT completed their Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University between 1988 and 1990.
