Chief Data Scientist at ReliaQuest

Colm Howlin has an extensive work experience in the field of data science. Colm is currently working as the Chief Data Scientist at ReliaQuest since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Realizeit from 2008 to 2022, where they started as a Principal Data Scientist and later took on additional responsibilities in machine learning, system development, research, and product implementation. Before that, they worked as a Statistical Consultant at SPSS from 2007 to 2008, where they provided statistical consultancy and training to clients. Colm also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Loughborough University from 2006 to 2007, where they conducted research on a project funded by the US Office of Naval Research. - In 2002, they enrolled at the University of Limerick and earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics. Colm'sresearch focused on "The Evolution of Packets of Surface Gravity in Inhomogeneous Media" and spanned until 2006.

- Between 1998 and 2002, Colm Howlin studied at the University of Limerick, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics and Computing.

Additionally, they obtained certifications including the "#GetALittleBetter Bronze Badge" from ReliaQuest in 2023 and the "Intercultural Development Programme - Advanced" from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2022.
