David Hooker

David Hooker has extensive experience in the field of emergency medicine. David started their career in 2008 as an ED Physician at North Mississippi Health Services and worked there until 2013. David then joined TeamHealth as a System Medical Director, primarily overseeing the Baptist Memorial Hospital - Desoto ED as well as other Baptist EDs in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas. In 2022, they joined Relias Healthcare as an Associate Chief Medical Officer, specializing in emergency medicine.

David Hooker completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Mississippi from 1993 to 2000. David then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 2004 to 2008 and completed the Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
