Marcos J. Soto

Marcos J. Soto has been working in the software engineering field since 2012. Marcos J. began their career at GO-SHARP! as a Java Developer, where they developed RESTful web services with JEE6 for mobile apps. In 2013, they moved to AMPI as a Java Developer, where they were responsible for developing a web portal for buying, selling, and renting a home, as well as related web services for a mobile app. Marcos J. was also responsible for maintaining the server up and running in an Amazon EC2 instance with CentOS. In 2014, they joined GSHP GROUP as an Android Developer, where they were responsible for creating a custom API to enable fast development of android apps, and for implementing a continuous integration process using Appium (Selenium), Jenkins, and Git. In 2017, they became the Chief Technology Officer at CapitalPro Technology Inc., where they created an easy to use platform for people without prior experience with investing. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Self-Employed Back End Developer, and is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Relo Metrics.

Marcos J. Soto obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional between 2008 and 2012. Marcos J. also obtained a Technician degree from Cecyt 2 in Machines with automated systems between 2005 and 2007. Additionally, they obtained a Neural Networks and Deep Learning certification from Coursera in September 2017, and an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle in July 2017.
