Clive Bastin

Clive Bastin, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in environmental science and data analytics, currently serving as the Director of the CO2 Hub and Data Analytics at RELX since January 2018, where Clive founded an award-winning cloud platform that manages extensive emissions data for over 34,000 global employees. Prior to this role, Clive held the position of Lead Program Manager at Cambridge University Press & Assessment from 2016 to 2018, and worked as a Sustainability Consultant on UK government and private sector contracts from 2008 to 2015. Clive served as Director at Moor Trees from 2004 to 2007, contributing to one of the UK's first voluntary carbon offset programmes. Clive's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, an MSc in Sustainable Environmental Management, and a BS in Environmental Science, all obtained from the University of Plymouth, as well as a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology from Bournemouth University.
