Brian Kramer has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Brian started their career in 2002 as a Developer Lead at Microsoft, where they worked on the C++ compilers for Windows CE. Brian then joined the University of Idaho as a Graduate Student, focusing on projects in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. After completing their studies, Brian worked as a Developer Lead at Zumobi, Inc. In 2008, they joined Microsoft Corporation as a Contract Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer.

Brian's career path continued with roles at Tableau Software as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily focusing on improving performance in areas such as text file parsing and geocoding. Brian also developed a software component for real-time performance measurement. Brian then worked at HBO Code Labs as a Senior Staff Engineer, followed by their role at Spry Hive Industries LLC., where they were a Partner & Principal Architect, responsible for Data Analytics / BI Services and client delivery.

In 2013, Brian started their own company, Arlette Software Consulting, where they provided software services in visual analytics, data management and mining, and data storage. Most recently, they joined Moz as a Senior Software Engineer, before transitioning to their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at Relyance AI.

Brian Kramer attended Centennial High School from 1987 to 1989 but did not receive a degree or study a specific field during this time. After graduating from high school, they went on to University of Idaho from 1989 to 1994 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (double) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
