Leila R. Golchehreh

Leila R. Golchehreh has an extensive work experience in data protection, privacy, and compliance roles. Leila R. is currently the Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Relyance AI, where they focus on simplifying data protection in a globalized, technology-driven world. Before that, Leila worked as a Senior Data Protection Lawyer & Data Protection Officer at Silicon Valley Trust. Leila R. also served as the Data Protection Officer and Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy & Compliance at Adaptive Insights, a Workday company, where they executed GDPR compliance plans and developed privacy and security documentation. Leila's previous experience includes roles at Workday, LRG Legal, Start-Up Chile, OECD, Business France, International Chamber of Commerce, and Allen & Overy. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in privacy policy, international agreements, compliance programs, and legal advisory.

Leila R. Golchehreh has a diverse education history. Leila R. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley in 2004. Following this, they attended Southwestern Law School from 2005 to 2008 and earned a Juris Doctor degree. In 2007, they participated in the European Law Program at American University Washington College of Law. Leila R. then pursued further studies at the Université Paris-Sorbonne in 2008 and 2009, where they obtained an LL.M degree in French & European Law. In terms of additional certifications, Leila obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification from The International Association of Privacy Professionals in September 2017 and also holds the CIPP/US | CIPP/E certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, earned in April 2016.
