Lorenzo Laru-An Jr.

Lorenzo Laru-an Jr. has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as a 2nd Officer - DPO at Rem Offshore since April 2022, where responsibilities include operating the DP-2 vessel "Rem Inspector" for walk-to-work operations in Taiwan. Prior roles include 2nd Officer - DPO at Boskalis Offshore Energy, where involvement in diving and ROV operations occurred at Dubai Petroleum, and multiple positions at Solstad Offshore ASA, contributing to various diving support operations and construction projects in both the South China Sea and Malaysia. Additional experience includes work with Fugro on geophysical surveys in Qatar, as well as earlier positions at DOF Management AS, Tidewater Marine, and Pacific Basin Shipping Limited, demonstrating a solid progression in maritime expertise. Lorenzo Laru-an Jr. holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation, Navigation and Seamanship from Misamis Institute of Technology.
