Agustin Diaz

Agustin Diaz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in advanced manufacturing and research. At REM Surface Engineering since April 2014, Agustin has held multiple roles, including Advance Manufacturing and Innovation Manager, Lead Additive Manufacturing Scientist, and Senior Research Chemist. Additionally, Agustin co-founded the LatinX Can Podcast in July 2020, serving as the Marketing Editor. Previous positions include Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University (July 2010 - April 2014) and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ford Foundation (2011 - 2012). Agustin also gained experience as a Visiting Scholar at both UC Irvine and Columbia University in June and July 2008. Agustin holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, completed in 2010.
