Angela Tang

Heather McKenna is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Supervisor for the City of Portland since October 2022, after a tenure as Engineer III with the Bureau of Environmental Services from January 2018 to October 2022. In these roles, Heather has managed projects related to Treatment and Pumping Systems, overseeing design reviews, process support, and project integration in collaboration with various stakeholders. Prior experience includes serving as R&D Engineering Consultant, Engineering Manager at Puralytics, and Research and Development Director at Carbonxt, along with research fellowships at the University of Florida, where Heather contributed to significant advancements in contaminant removal techniques. Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida.
