Arlen Collins

Arlen Collins is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in data analytics and consulting. Currently serving as President at Remedia since January 2009, Arlen focuses on individual patient and population data analytics and visualization tools for healthcare payers and providers. Prior to this role, Arlen was a consultant at Collins Managed Care Consulting, successfully turning around distressed provider-owned HMOs, and operated Collins Consulting with a 100% success rate in international consulting for a large US health plan and the Harvard School of Public Health. As co-founder and President of Critical Care Analytics, Arlen developed a critical care database based on academic mortality models. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Medical Director at US HealthCare, where Arlen developed the company's presence in expansion markets and established its first disease management program. Arlen holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and has further education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, The University of Texas at Austin, and Colorado State University.
