Andrej Simjanov is an experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering, specializing in high-performance building design, energy modeling, and commissioning. Currently, Andrej serves as a high-performance buildings design expert at RemedyEngineering since April 2023. Prior roles include principal and energy modeling and commissioning specialist at Introba, director at Mission Green Buildings, and CX engineer at Morrison Hershfield. With a strong foundation in commissioning and energy analysis from Enermodal Engineering Ltd and earlier experience as an HVAC equipment designer at Engineered Air, as well as a junior HVAC engineer at Trane Contracting, Andrej has developed a comprehensive skill set. Educational achievements include an M Eng in Building Systems from the University of Colorado Boulder, an MASC in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, and a Dipl. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Thermal Engineering from Univerzitet 'Sv. Kiril i Metódij' vo Skopje.

Our contribution as the mechanical engineering consultant of a building project is to be well acquainted with the engineering components that assist in sustainability. These include facility energy use, water use, and indoor environmental quality. Remedy's standard design practice is to meet or exceed client expectations while providing the most cost-effective, energy-efficient, and water-efficient mechanical system possible.
